As part of building our team, we are looking for a sales representative to help scale up Mender. Mender, an open-core solution with an open source version, is the standard for over-the-air (OTA) updates in IoT and connected devices.
About this role
Drive revenue growth by selling our innovative cybersecurity/systems management solutions within your assigned North American territory. While focusing primarily on Fortune 1000 enterprises, you'll also develop mid-market opportunities, using our AI-powered tools to exceed sales targets consistently.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas. This is your primary measure of success.
- Sell effectively to both Fortune 1000 and mid-market companies in your designated region.
- Navigate sales cycles of varying complexity while maintaining a strong focus on closure.
- Build and manage your pipeline through AI-enhanced outbound prospecting and relationship development.
- Own the complete sales process from lead identification to successful deal closure.
- Maintain accurate CRM records to support reliable forecasting.
- Gather and share market intelligence to strengthen competitive positioning.
What Sets Successful Candidates Apart
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in enterprise software.
- Experience selling cybersecurity or systems management solutions.
- Ability to close business with both large enterprises and mid-market companies.
- Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on revenue generation.
- Skill in leveraging AI tools to enhance sales effectiveness.
